ITINERARY


Day 1 May 4| Welcome to Paris

Paris is yours to explore on this in-depth City Explorer. Check in to your centrally located hotel and spend the afternoon getting to know your surroundings. Wander along the grand boulevards and admire the elegant architecture of the French capital, stopping for a leisurely café au lait while watching sophisticated Parisians go by. This evening, join your fellow travelers and Travel Director for a quintessentially Parisian Welcome Reception.

Day 2 May 5| Paris

Join your Travel Director this morning for a tour of this mesmerizing city. View the grand Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe, built for Napoleon in the 19th century. Delve into the hidden squares and secret passages of one of Paris's

most historic neighborhoods and a favorite local haunt that remains a secret to outsiders. Enjoy aerial views of

the city today when you embrace Paris on a different level as you rise from the base to the first floor of the Eiffel Tower for a memorable lunch with Paris at your feet, a truly iconic event. Enjoy a real French custom, visit a Parisian cheese maker to taste some delicious produce.

Seine Cruise and Paris Illuminations - To truly see Paris in all its glory, you need to see it from the Seine. Day 3 May 6   Consider an Optional Experience to the D-Day Landing Beaches You may wish to experience a full-day Optional

Experience on the Normandy coast to uncover the poignant history of the D-Day Landings.

Alternatively, spend the day soaking up the sights and sounds of this elegant European capital. Your Travel Director will suggest activities and attractions that will ensure a memorable day spent discovering Paris. Spend your evening at leisure exploring the city's glittering sights at night.

this full-day tour. We'll visit the dramatic battle-scarred cliffs of Pointe du Hoc before descending on to Omaha beach

itself and visiting the American Cemetery on the bluffs above. You'll also enjoy the superb new Operation Overlord Museum before visiting Juno Beach and the Canadian Cemetery (traffic allowing).

Day 4 May 7| A Day to Explore Versailles

Tread in the footsteps of French nobility and explore the opulence and splendor of Versailles. Join a Local Specialist who will guide you through the palace's

extraordinary Hall of Mirrors and Battles Gallery. Stroll through the picturesque Royal Gardens and visit the

Petit Trianon to see first-hand how the French Royal Family lived in private, before discovering Marie Antoinette's Hamlet. Return to Paris later for an evening at leisure. Immerse yourself in Parisian culture on the Optional Experience to a traditional cabaret performance.

Day 5 May 8   Experience the Marais and French Cuisine

Explore the intriguing and beautiful Marais district on a walking tour. See the mansions and courtyards of this

delightful corner of Paris. Then, Dive Into Culture, savoring the exquisite flavors of French cuisine as you

meet a Parisian chef for an unforgettable lunch experience. Delve into local culinary secrets, and

delicious flavors and aromas, which you will have an opportunity to create yourself and then to enjoy. Later,

the included guided museum visit will either be the Louvre Museum or the Orsay Museum depending on availability. Before your tour begins, your Travel Director will send you a welcome email and confirm the included museum visit. They will also advise you how to

book the other museum if you wish to visit it during your time in Paris.

Day 6 May 9| Enjoy Montmartre

A leisurely start to our morning sees us take a quaint little train back in time to the colorful hillside 'village' of Montmartre, home to the picturesque Sacré-Cœur. Dive Into Culture as we tread in the footsteps of Picasso, Dali and Van Gogh, as you discover the hidden squares, artists' haunts and romantic hideaways along with ample time for shopping. Spend the rest of the day on your own embracing your inner bon vivant.

Day 7 May 10| Paris Your Way

Perhaps admire the exquisite collection of modern art in the Centers George Pompidou or enjoy an Optional Experience to the inspirational gardens of Monet at Giverny. This evening, Connect With Locals during a memorable Be My Guest experience and Farewell Dinner at Chez Paul, bringing you back to the Paris of the early 1900s.
