To the clients and future clients relying on Blair Hickey for their travel arrangements. For years I have engaged Blair to make all sorts of flawless arrangements for cruises, crossings and global transportation, but only in the last year have I realized how lost I would be without her relentless efforts. A Seabourn crossing from Miami to Barcelona was booked in 2019 for travel in the spring of 2020. Obviously all plans and arrangements were cancelled because of Covid 19…all plans except for Seabourn’s ideas which could best be described as nonexistent . Alternant future options were not comparable and our efforts to simply cancel and restart at a later date were futile, and any request to just get our full fare payment refunded was denied.

Finally after months of rejection or no response from Seabourn, Blair Hickey secured full cancellation refunds, delivered in grudging partial payments. It was not even possible for me to talk to Seabourn, much less help with this effort. I’m positive that without Blair’s relentless efforts, my girlfriend and I would simply be out roughly fifteen thousand dollars.

I once thought that Seabourn was the classiest cruise line. I guess the “Carnival” effect has taken over.

We traveled with Blair and David to South Africa in 2018. On the ferry trip to Robben Island, David and Blair still made time to check on all the upcoming reservations for our trip. They are remarkable!

Though we would have really loved to continue our trip with “our trip club friends”, David and I loved coming back to Cape Town and continuing where we originally started. I had booked a cruise to South America and I was told by Blair that, while I would not need a visa, I would need to pay an Argentinian Reciprocity Fee. It could only be done online and I needed to print it out and take it with me on my trip. Because the site was in Spanish, the directions were very confusing and I could not locate where I was supposed to print it out. Blair, with the help of David, located the form, printed it out and mailed it to me. OMG, I was thinking I'd have to go to the Consulate. Oh, thank you Blair and David! You guys are the best! Amazing, wow, super. Thank you!

The Twelve Apostles accommodations were extraordinary (the only part of our trip that was not on safari). The Singita Ebony Lodge was the epitome of class, and the chef at Royal Malewane was fabulous. The game drives at the lodges were spectacular. You gave us expert advice so our anniversary was an experience we will talk about forever.
