The Fine Print

Pricing

All prices are per person, double occupancy and in US dollars unless otherwise stated.  Prices and availability are subject to change and do not include government taxes.  A fuel surcharge may apply even after the booking is deposited or paid in full, and is at the discretion of the supplier.  It may not be possible to combine certain offers with select rate codes, coupons or other offers.

Unless otherwise indicated, prices do not include airfare, gratuities, travel insurance, alcoholic beverages, visas, or any items of a personal or incidental nature.

Final Payment

Cruise payments require full payment between 75 and 150 days prior to sailing, depending on the cruise line.  Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure for most other vacation packages unless otherwise specified by individual suppliers.  Failure to make final payment on time can result in the cancellation of your trip, forfeiture of your deposit and a $75 service fee.

Travel Protection

You may wonder why you should buy travelers insurance for your vacation. It’s not just your investment you’ll be protecting; you’re also protecting yourself and your family. If you are involved in an auto accident, injure yourself, lose your luggage during your trip, become ill, have to cancel your trip, or are delayed en route and miss your connection, your ordinary health insurance or home owner’s policy may not protect you.  Want more information? Go to the "Travel Resources" tab.

Cancellations

Refund policies vary widely by supplier.  Some travel components, such as airfare, are nonrefundable.  World Cruises & Travel reserves the right to impose its own administrative service fee for all cancelled bookings.  Please check the supplier’s website or brochure for details regarding cancellation policies and penalties.

Passport Information

Passports are required for all international travel, including Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean Region.  The only exception is "Closed Loop" Cruises.  U.S. citizens who board a cruise ship at a port within the United States, travel only within the Western Hemisphere, and return to the same U.S. port on the same ship may present a government issued photo identification, along with proof of citizenship (an original or copy of his or her birth certificate, a Consular report of Birth Abroad, or a Certificate of Naturalization). Please be aware that you may still be required to present a passport to enter the foreign countries your cruise ship is visiting. Check with your cruise line to ensure you have the appropriate documents.  Non-US citizens should check with their embassy or consulate as to the proper documentation that is required.   Certain countries require a Visa for entry – it is your responsibility to obtain the necessary documentation where a Visa is required.
